| You can then start to massage the arch of the foot and gently stroke the top of the foot. Once you have spent a few minutes on one swap to the other, but before you do, slowly glide your hands all the way up the leg from the foot and then slowly and gently rotate the foot a few times to ensure relaxation. | ![]() |

| Once you have done both feet, you can move smoothly onto the legs, you can work both at the same time or one at a time. Starting with the sweep again from the foot all the way up the leg, pay special attention to the ankles, calves, backs of knees, thighs and inner thighs. Every stroke should be in an upward motion towards the thigh area. You can use effleurage going up the legs and petrissage going up the sides of the legs. | ![]() |
